Welcome to the Shoal Creek Forest on-line community gathering spot! This site has been created to facilitate neighborhood communication. Specifically information regarding a coordinated effort to enhance the entrances of our neighborhood.
We invite and need your participation. Please tell your neighbors about this site and encourage them to visit often.
Several residents of Shoal Creek Forest have initiated a movement to guage the interest in a beautification project involving the two entrances. This could range from plantings to various types of signs. Obviously this will take resources and volunteers but most importantly it will take the interest and support of the community. Please read the posts as they are added and give us your feedback. Rick Fehr has coordinated an effort to poll all of the residents regarding their initial interest and has done a good deal of research trying to understand the elements involved if we wish to proceed. Please read his posting, add your profile and post your questions and/or input. I'd suggest you put up a photo with your profile so we can recognize each other in the future. We ask you to always keep your postings adult, respectful and responsible and refrain from objectionable language. Our only objective is to increase the appeal and value of our community and the homes therein, so we all have a vested interest in approaching this responsibly. Thanks and welcome!
